Pavement Ants

Pavement ants are often referred to as "Sugar Ants" or "House Ants". The term Pavement Ant is used to describe a number of different little ant species. The most common in the NJ & PA areas are the actual Pavement Ants, Odorous House Ants, and Pharaoh Ants. Pavement ants are little nuisance ants that invade your home or office every year.

Prevention and Control

Eliminate standing water. Pests such as pavement ants are attracted to moisture. Keep tree branches and other plants cut back from the house. Sometimes pests use these branches to get into your home. Make sure that there are no cracks or little openings around the bottom of your house. Sometimes pests use these to get into your home. Make sure that firewood and building materials are not stored next to your home. Pests like to build nests in stacks of wood.

Drum Pest Control uses a baiting and non-repellant spray technique that really sees results against these annoying pests.
